Kathleen’s recoveries included:
1. $500,000 Settlement for Pedestrian Accident Victim
Kathleen recovered half a million dollars for a client who was injured in a pedestrian accident. As case records indicate, Kathleen’s client had been crossing the street on foot in Toms River, NJ when she was struck and knocked down by a motor vehicle. Her client suffered serious injuries to her knee, shoulder, and back.
Given the severity of the injuries, Kathleen was able to recover $500,000 from the defendant’s insurance carrier to compensate her client for her medical bills, pain and suffering, and other damages.
2. $250,000 Settlement for Auto Accident Victim
Kathleen’s second six-figure settlement, secured just two days after her $500,000 recovery, arose from a motor vehicle accident involving a client who suffered serious knee injuries. According to court records, Kathleen’s client was struck by the defendant motorist who failed to obey a stop sign. He ultimately required several surgeries for his resulting knee injuries.
In negotiations with the defendant’s insurer, Kathleen was able to secure a $250,000 settlement for her client.
