Levinson Axelrod, P.A. Partner Chris DeAngelo recently secured a six-figure settlement for a client who was injured in a motor vehicle accident.
According to case records, Chris’ client was in his vehicle when it was rear-ended by an intoxicated driver. He suffered injures to his neck and both elbows and underwent a course of physical therapy for his neck. He was ultimately required to undergo surgery on his elbow as a result of the collision.
Chris was able to negotiate a $125,000 pretrial settlement, which was more than three times the court-ordered non-binding arbitration award.
