Todd Wachtel Selected as 2021 Comp Laude® People’s Choice Awards Finalist

Levinson Axelrod, P.A. is pleased to announce that Partner Todd Wachtel has been selected as a finalist for the 2021 Comp Laude® People’s Choice Awards!

As a People’s Choice Awards Presenter, Todd and other finalists will share personal stories during the virtual Comp Laude® Awards & Gala on November 5, 2021. One presenter will be selected as the best storyteller, and a winner will be named during the Comp Laude® Awards show later that day.

For his personal story, Todd will discuss how he recently discovered that his great-grandfather served as a labor lawyer for the early IWW (Industrial Workers of the World) in 1913. Although Todd is a New Jersey Supreme Court Certified Workers’ Compensation attorney who has been in practice for nearly 25 years, he only learned of his great-grandfather’s affiliation with the IWW during COVID.

Todd will also be sharing a photo of his great-grandfather, Maxim Appell, Esq., protesting for workers’ rights outside the home of John D. Rockefeller, Jr.:

The Comp Laude® Awards & Gala is an annual event that gathers workers’ compensation attorneys and industry professionals from across the country for two days of educational seminars, networking, and an awards ceremony. Todd’s presentation will be held virtually on November 5^th during the Comp Laude® People’s Choice Awards segment.
